Two years after launching the Foundation in Mount Waddy, St Ann, Michael A. Folkes returned with something new: the Foundation’s first dental and medical mission for the students of Mount Waddy Primary School, held in the summer of 2016.
Parents told the Jamaica Observer the mission saved them money they could not easily find, since public clinics are hard to get into and private doctors are expensive. Teacher Msichana Lewis said students often struggle to get their medical checks done, and called the mission a great opportunity.
