The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation is an organization geared towards community development. It will in the near future assist students financially to acquire a better education. Youngsters will benefit by gaining skills that will enable them to be more productive and allow them to become well rounded in life.

At first I will achieve my goals in school. I will be more disciplined as I grow older and trust God through the years. I will do excellent in school. I will be faithful, truthful and kind in school.

Mighty in Character means a lot to me. It helps me to keep on the right path. I love Mighty in Character. It helps me to be more focused and to do the things that are right. I really respect Mighty in Character. I am Mighty in my Character. I enjoy Mighty in Character.

Mighty in Character means to achieve goals. It helps us as students to do well in school. It helps us to be polite and sharing and to believe in God.

Mighty in Character was launched on April 14, 2014 at the Mt. Waddy Primary School. This Foundation was built to help students who attend Mt. Waddy. The Foundation will help the school with financial needs. The day Mighty in Character was launched we were treated with cake and ice-cream. We enjoyed ourselves. They took pictures of us, and we saw ourselves in the newspaper. MIC means a lot to me. It helps to motivate us to build moral values and to develop trust in God.

The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation means to me that I am going to work harder, achieve more, serve God and obey my parents. It also encourages me to be confident in anything I am doing. The Foundation helps me to have a high self-esteem and be courageous. Mighty in character- MIC

First of all, I want to tell the Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation thanks for everything they have done. It means to me that I am going to be a good person and be respectful to everyone around me. It also encourages me to be a hardworking, caring and honest person. I will excel in my school work, my relationship with God and allow my true potential to shine. I believe in myself that anything is possible. I will be respectful to my mother and father so that my days can be long on this earth.

The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation to me means that I should be Mighty In Character. It encourages me to be strong in everything I do. It helps me to be confident in myself and in everything I do. It helps me to believe in myself and to do my school work. It also helps me to achieve my goals and set them the right way. It also encourages me to build my faith, joy and peace.

To me MIC means that I should be on the right track, to study my books and to read and write better. MIC means Mighty in Character. I am a very mighty person in my character. I love to come first in my class. I am a bright girl. I do not want to waste time. MIC also means to do the things that are right and loving. I like to share, and I respect everyone because I am respectful and patient. I am MIC.

MIC has made a wonderful change in my life. It has made me improve in my work and to be a better person. This Foundation helps children with their high school fees through a scholarship and gives supplies to the school. They are also giving away tablets for your studies and much more. The Foundation was launched at the Mt. Waddy Primary School. They treated the students and gave us t shirts too. When the treat was over we all took pictures, and they were published in the newspaper and sent to other countries.

The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation has helped me to gain confidence. It will help me to be more outstanding. But first of all I need to find God. With the MMFF I will achieve my goals. The MMFF will help me to be obedient, honest and independent. The MMFF will create a brighter tomorrow for me. The MMFF will help me to excel and have the potential to maximize in what I do. I believe it will help me to do Godly good. The Foundation will help me to know God and it means I will succeed in my work.

April 14th, 2014 was a very special day to me because Michael Folkes explained to the Mt Waddyians how he would help us with our school fees, lunches and books. This Foundation will make me maintain my grades and become more focused and develop much more in my work. This Foundation will help my mother a lot with my school fee and sending me to school. This foundation is like a gift to me. It will make me proud and not just me but my family too, as well as my teachers who have helped me from grade one through to grade six and teaching me right from wrong. This is a chance for me to shine and to become a better person in life.

The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation means a lot to me. It encourages me keep up the good work that I am doing. It motivates me to excel in my work, to be disciplined, outstanding and hopeful. To strive, to achieve my goals and to be Mighty in Character. To be honest, kind, encouraging and faithful. MIC to the world!

The Foundation means a lot to me. It is going to help me to use the computer and develop my skills. The Foundation is helping me to learn more about helping others – each one teach one. My attitude and behavior will change, and I will become a better person. I love this Foundation because it is helping my school to be the best school in the country.

I think that Mighty in Character means we should work harder for our goals in life. When I grow up I want to get a job, and it's possible because I work for that goal.

MIC has made a change in my life, and that is why I believe in MIC. They gave us food, shirts and other things and that is why I will never forget them. I feel so happy and proud of them for giving us things that we want. I am saying thank you for everything that you have done for us.

The Melbourne and Michael Folkes Foundation means to me that I will be obedient, honest, truthful and help us to achieve our goals. MIC will help me to achieve my goals in class and to follow their steps to be obedient, truthful, honest, kind and faithful. MIC teaches me right from wrong and to do an excellent job in class.

MIC has made many changes in my life since it was launched on April 14, 2014. It gives me the courage and the ability to do much better than I usually did before. It has made me a better girl, and I have learned to do many more possible things.

Michael Folkes showed me that no matter how bad my past was, I have the power to make my life better; and I have. Thank you.

Michael's speech made me realize that even in the toughest times you need to look forward because if you work hard enough you can get anywhere in life. The experience has showed me that if I put in the time and effort into something I want to achieve I can achieve it.
